Upper Eden Vets successfully defended their title on their second visit to St Savin.

They played 8 games in total, winning 5, and drawing 3 and conceded only one try.

7 French and 2 English sides took part.

Tour captain Dave "Mog" Metcalfe received the winners trophy and thanked the organisers especially Bernard Essermeant who he presented with a tour shirt and a momento from the club.

 

The event was followed by dinner, dancing, general rugby banter and on occasion some shirt swapping.
